Who We Are
Our Story
Beginning with Dr. George Fohey in the early 1940s, Fohey Veterinary Hospital has been caring for the pets of the Clio Community. Dr. Fohey has since passed the torch on. Fast forward to 2016, Dr. Dan Deciechi has taken on the reigns and assumed the legacy of Dr. Fohey to continue the personable family pet care. In 2020 Dr. Deciechi decided to extend this legacy into Animal Medical Center of Lapeer. Dr. Rita, who previously owned Animal Medical Center, is set to retire and enjoy her newfound freedom. She sold the practice to Dr. Deciechi, knowing that he would take exceptional care of the practice and all of its clients, old and new. We hope to continue this legacy and help all clients give their animals the best care they can get!
